Episode 27: London Calling

The Bear Tracker Weekly Podcast hits the road to Canada Life Place in London for Game 2 of the Western Conference Quarter-Finals!
This week, we're joined by Attack forwards, Pierce Mbuyi and Michael Dec as the rookies get their first taste of the OHL Playoffs. Assistant Coach Brandon Shaw joins us, as well as a visit with London Knights' TV play-by-play announcer Greg Sloan! Plus a special Media Room Roundtable from the Press Box in London with Matt Hermiz and Mark McKelvie!
 

Episode 26: Playoff Bound

When the season started, the word "playoffs" was rarely, if ever, brought up in conversation about the Owen Sound Attack...but as the sun sets on the final day of the OHL season the Attack are headed to the playoffs for the 14th straight season to face the London Knights in Round 1. 
This week, we salute the three overage players for Owen Sound: Captain Landen Hookey, Bruce MacDonald and Alec Leonard. Head Coach, Scott Wray joins to talk about the teams performance and the Media Room Roundtable gets together to talk about the significance of the Attacks season and the impact of the overage players.

Episode 25: Down to the Wire...

With one week remaining on the OHL Regular Season schedule, the Owen Sound Attack pick up four more points to remain in the hunt for a playoff spot...
This week, we chat with two players: Gabe Smith and rookie Ethan Kindree, as well as Assistant Coach Brandon Shaw. 
Our broadcaster interview features another visit with  Mike Farwell, radio play-by-play announcer for the Kitchener Rangers on News 570, as well as the host of "The OHL Podcast".

Episode 24: A Conversation with Fred Wallace

This week, we only have one guest: legendary Owen Sound Broadcaster Fred Wallace.
Fred has spent many years on radio in Owen Sound and many years covering the local sports scene.
Despite being "semi-retired", Fred is still the PA Announcer for the Attack and is still very active in the community.
He's a walking history book for the Attack and Platers and one of the finest people you'll ever meet. 

Episode 23: Forget Fridays

After two consecutive Friday night blowouts, it's clear the Attack aren't fans of TGIF...
Once again, the Attack rebound for a huge win to keep their playoff hopes alive. 
This week, we're joined by Elliott Arnett who scored his first OHL goal this week as well as Harry Nansi.
Coach Scott Wray talks about the week and looks ahead to the upcoming road trip to Erie. 
Niagara Ice Dogs radio play-by-play voice Ted Lehman joins us to talk about the team and his career, plus our Media Room Roundtable discussions what's better: making the playoffs or getting a high draft pick.

With the Attack on the road to Northern Ontario, we keep things close to home by chatting with Dave Cruickshank and Pete Miller, members of the Attack Pak Fan Club.
Also on the pod, Sudbury Wolves' Broadcaster Nick Liard talks about the team and his career.

Episode 21: Hattricks & Fanny Packs

The Owen Sound Attack pick up 3 out of 4 points in back-to-back games against Erie at the Bayshore. 
The Valentines Day game on Friday was arguably one of the craziest at the Bayshore in recent years, with both Pierce Mbuyi and Captain Landen Hookey recording hattricks. 
This week on the podcast, we're joined by two players: Antonio Tersigni and James Petrovski. Assistant Coach Reagan O'Grady stops by to break down what the coaches thought of both games. 
Otters' Media & Communications coordinator Trevor Kubeja called both games for Erie and joins us to talk about what's been a series of misfortunate events, on and off the ice this year. 
Plus the Media Room Roundtable is back again to discuss Pierce Mbuyi's continued success and other games that compare to the crazy events witnessed at the Bayshore on Friday night.

In what's become an annual tradition in Owen Sound, the moms invaded the Bayshore for the weekend! We're joined by two - Tara George and Marnie Hookey to talk about their respective sons, Carter & Landen. 
Declan Waddick makes his first appearance on the pod, plus Assistant Coach Brandon Shaw breaks down the weekend's effort after the Attack played three games in three days. 
Legendary OHL Broadcaster Jim Gilchrist was in town with the Frontenacs on Sunday...he recently called his 3100th game on the radio and joins us to talk about his career in Kingston.
With Greg Cowan away, the Media Room Roundtable talks about the Attack's good fortune on home ice, plus the possibility of rookie Pierce Mbuyi getting his name in the team record books...

Episode 19: Streaking At Home

The Owen Sound Attack have picked up 7 out of a possible 8 points at home in the last 4 games.
This week, the newest member of the team, Lenny Greenberg arrives from the BCHL to help the battered blue line...
